...that I managed to get some pictures before the model cracked too badly. It has a coating of vaseline to prevent it drying out too fast. I have to cut out the backgrounds of 36 images before I can create the VR movie of the rotating statue. It looks ok I think but a 7 foot version would have much nicer detail than this 14 incher.

I really hope it goes well. Are you intending to cast the 'real' sculpture in bronze or something?
I've just ordered a poster showing different angles of the model in case it cracks too badly. All the possible designs are going to be on display to the public at the end of the month.
You flatter me Gretel:¬) I perhaps would have liked to have been a bit less conventional, but we have to try to give the prospective client what they want don't we:¬) If I was to get the job I would hire a model to pose for me.
Hi Sara, thanks:¬) The actual 7 ft sculpture is to be a bronze. But I would probably try to cast an edition of bronzes from the smaller model, or maybe resin-bonded bronze.
This looks wonderful. You really do terrific sculpture. Good luck with it all - that the materials cooperate! that the committee choosing is unbiased (and sees how fabulous yours is) and that you make some good connections through this venture no matter the outcome!
This sculpture was an exercise as much as anything. If things go further with it then I will obviously be delighted.
